Exploring GeorgeTown
Entering George town, I found myself amazed on how much there was around me. My group started off by meeting in front of the book store called Bridge Street books. Getting lost in the scenery we made our way to the park where the William sisters had played tennis along with many others. From there we were released to explore GeorgeTown for ourselves and meet back for an hour. Wanting to go every store I saw, the first place I had decided to go to was George town's cupcakes and see if they were worth the hype. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Heading back towards the park, we circled towards the neighborhood finding the center of every store you need around you. Next, we saw the oldest house in george town was amazed how it blended in with the fairly new houses surrounded in the neighborhood. On the look out for washington gear, we had gotten lost and found ourselves in a less friendly place of the town.

Towards the middle of our journey we found that all of the shops had been called the town's name and what they had sold which I found was different from where I came from. Making my way back to library where we planned to meet up, I saw that Georgetown had an urban environment. White picket fences that were famous in the seventies had been in front of almost every house as well as trees and flowers spaced throughout the restaurants and houses. I also found that it was a pretty friendly environment and a nice neighborhood. Finally arriving to the library, I found shelves upon shelves of books covering the whole room/rooms that  had never seen before. The books were divided into history, literature and religion. I was geared towards literature because I always had a love for different types of poems and writing. Picking up the book “Lucky girls” (which again I never saw) was a love/sad story about two girls figuring out what to do after a person they were acquainted with died and their adventures. Having second thoughts I put it back and “checked out” without any doubts. Ending our journey, we had a ten minute reading session before having to catch the shuttle and leaving the amazing George town experience.
