Union Station Morning

Union Station is the most station in the capital of America. Thousands of tourists come to this place everyday. Some of them stay in the shops and choose gifts for their parents and friends. Some buy some snakes or drinks and sit down enjoy the happy time in this beautiful place which have lots of sculptures. Of course, there are someone who walks quickly with their luggage and watcher his watch for checks the time.

The roof of Union Station is really nice. The color of it looks like golden under the sunshine shining on it. The sculptures are located at the in front place of the window. In this case the sunshine enter the station from their back, and their located at the high location, just like gods, standing at the high place and observing people who are walking around. Each of them hold a shield which have a eagle on it. As we know, eagle is the symbol of America, so the sculptures may mean this country will protect their citizens as the God.

Visitors can buy both international and American goods in this station. A shop which on the basement sells Macaron, which is a traditional France snake. And there is a place for tourists to buy Chinese clothes on the second floor. What I always see in the shop is stuffs about American flag. The hats, cups, clothes or even pens and notebooks have flag on it. There are not much people in the stores, most of them are siting on the chairs at the basement or eating food in the restaurant. Some of them are talking about the next place they plan to go, the things they want to do, they smile and chat with their parents or friends. As for people who sit at the basement alone, they are playing their phones, reading a book or taking a nap.
